This guy was around before Arnold! Man, I thought he was ancient—but he was ripped and crazy looking! I had to find out what he was doing.
As whacky as it sounds, he was training using only 1 repetition per set! But get this: He was NOT a powerlifter. He was not training like that….no, this was something I’d never seen before. He claimed he invented this method of training and I believe him. I’d never seen it before and I have yet to see it since. I know a lot about powerlifting. In fact I’m certified to instruct it! This is NOTHING like powerlifting…but only one rep.
