Menopause Symptoms – Bioidentical Hormones – Conquer Menopause
Visit SiteEventually, even I thought I was losing my mind! I turned 47 before I received my first helpful feedback and had one of those ‘aha’ moments during a conversation with my mother. She said something to the effect that the last few times we had spoken, I sounded very "angry" and that it was very unlike me – and, the clincher – she recommended that I see a doctor. I hate doctors. So I got ticked off and didn’t do anything about it. LOL. But time passed and my symptoms didn’t, and out of sheer desperation, I finally had to admit that she might be right … maybe something was in fact happening to me that I ought to be aware of. I began asking more questions … Some to my peers, friends, co-workers, and any other women I could find that were in the appropriate age range and would listen to me…
What can I do to prevent things like mood swings & hot flashes from happening to me?
I started my research by surfing the internet. And then I surfed some more. Wow, what a learning education about women’s healthcare that was. I discovered what is almost common knowledge now – that the very HRT prescriptions doctors have been giving women for years, is now reported to be causing the things it was said to prevent: heart attacks, strokes and even cancer. You have probably seen the same news reports that I am referring to here. I can’t be sure what your reaction was, but I know I felt scared, discouraged, and not sure what to do next. I knew I couldn’t live with the symptoms I was currently experiencing. Something had to be done. That’s when I decided I needed an expert partner to work with. Someone who worked in the healthcare industry. Enter Kathi MacNaughton … a Registered Nurse and experienced health writer, as well as a woman also going through peri-menopause herself. Perfect!
Look at what one woman had to say about our eBook: "If I’d only had this before I suffered for two years with hot flashes and anxiety attacks.
I am experiencing such relief just by trying a few of the alternative treatments that are available in this eBook." ~~ Ginger W. Lenxa, Kansas
And then the real work began. We reviewed more than 150 websites related to menopause. We looked at medical sites like WebMD and Mayo Clinic as well as medical journal sites and the far out "edgy" alternative medicine sites. We also reviewed, read, digested, and assimilated more than 25 books on the subject of menopause.
Most of the information in the books was out of date by the time the book was published and available on the shelves at your local book store. Since it can take from 12-24 months for a book to go from research to the shelves, many medical facts and research are already out of date. We also discovered that while websites had the ability to be more up-to-date, most were not. We went back to numerous sites over a period of 6-9 months and found that nothing had changed even though new medical information, research and advice had been published.
How to Conquer Menopause is not some stuffy medical book, or out-of-date book with old approaches and ineffective solutions. This ebook is a step-by-step manual for you on how to cope with menopause.
Look at what one M. D. had to say: "I found How To Conquer Menopause to be an extremely valuable resource. It’s well written for starters. And, it deals with a large number of symptoms facing women at this stage of life. For me, the writing is accurate and understandable as well as covers a multitude of issues ranging from hot flashes to weight loss. Overall a valuable resource for women at this stage of their lives." ~~ Dr. Joe Marion, M. D. Vancouver, Washington
Many of the answers in this ebook come from women just like you who have gone through the wringer called menopause and have come out on the other side — still smiling and with their lives intact. And that includes me…
Today, I’m a new woman… no more mood swings, hot flashes or feelings like I’m losing control of my life. I have tried all 3 alternative and natural hormones including progesterone, estrogen and testosterone and have discovered a comfortable prescription that works for me. And, I don’t expect to be supplementing these alternatives forever – I can already feel my body not needing them as much. But it got me through the worst of times. These days I’m eating healthier than I’ve ever eaten before. I realized that I was kidding myself that poor eating habits were not part of my problem. And I started exercising again on a daily but moderate basis. I can honestly say I’m experiencing greater joy and fulfillment than ever before. The important point to understand is that this phase of life can be beautiful. We have the intelligence, experience and fullness of heart that didn’t exist for us as younger women. We give more, love more, and are much more at peace. And it’s easier to live that way if our bodies aren’t causing us grief every day. Listen… knowing about alternatives isn’t enough … you have to take action until your body completes this transition. I still sometimes have to deal with odd bouts of bloating, but that’s typical… Read more…
