Blood Spot testing requires only a tiny amount of blood from a nearly painless finger prick-at home. You send the sample to the lab in a prepaid container and results can be sent to you or your doctor. Several tests can be run from a single sample. Blood spot testing provides results on a par with those from saliva tests and serum tests. This test kit cannot be sent to the state of New York.

Seemed pretty accurate, but needs a lot of blood

Because of a low result on this home test, I had a proper lab test done. The results were very similar, so accuracy was good. The only reason I’d not give 5 it’s VERY hard to get the required amount of blood with the finger prickers they provide, and they are single-use. I had to resort to safety pins to get more, which was rather painful. More finger prickers and, if possible, ones that can be used more than once and it would have been a 5 star product.

Good product and reasonably timely results.

A good product. I got the information I needed to work with my physician to put in place a prescription for topical testosterone (Androgel) when he was resisting doing the test on his signature. The test was easy to do, by following the well written process for testing at home. The results took a little longer than expected, but they were reasonably timely.
